MEETING LOCATION:
Stater Brothers Market

Hesperia, CA 92345

We will be leaving at 7:15am, sharply. From meeting location we will caravan to Saddle Dike Embankment, Hesperia. That will be our starting point. Where the yellow gate is.

PARKING: NO ADVENTURE PASS REQUIRED OR PARKING FEE

TRAIL WALK-THROUGH:
This is an intermediate hike. We are starting this hike from its west point on Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) off of Saddle Dike Embankment. We will continue on PCT on the Mojave Mountain side for approx 4 miles, we will then get to see the famous Footbridge aka Rainbow bridge. The bridge will cross us over the Deep Creek to the San Bernardino Mountains. From there it is only about 2-2.5 miles to the Hot Springs. This hiking trail goes along the Deep Creek..

Intermediate 3 / Level 6
Level 3 – Intermediate and can be 8-10 miles in length. In addition to the length, hikers should be prepared for potentially difficult terrain, possibly with the need to use hands to keep balance.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE WITH THE GROUP ON THIS HIKE?

4. If, and only if it suits you, then RSVP for this event and show up the day of the hiKe with all necessary gear and water (we mention everything you need on the details page for this hiKe).

* If you have time constraints, please don’t attend this hiKe.
* There is no charge for parking.
* Please note there is some moderate incline on this trail.
* Pack enough water for this trail

• For your safety and the safety of the group, If you are not adequately prepared, gear or conditioning, you will be turned back for your safety and that of the group.

IIS IT DOG-FRIENDLY? Yes. You must pick up after your dog. And carry a small container to give them water.
• Always keep your dog leashed. Do not allow your dog to wander freely, pursuant to Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 36, Chapter II, Sec. 261.8 (d).
• In addition, your dog must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.
